(subject to change)this website is about! ...something! i dunno how to start this T-T
i guess i should start with my goal? or what i plan to do here? um...
social media makes me nervous. i like...i guess slower forms of communication? i don't know why, but a message feels like a lot of pressure. same thing with a post, you have to be clear and concise, but i don't know how to do that!! words are hard!! i'm a rambler, i have to do five hundred filler words or else my brain will melt out of my ears!!
that's a bit of an exaggeration, but i hope you get the idea! i used to use an old minecraft skin creation app and the communication was, while slow, nice! i liked getting nice and funny comments on my stuff and it was fun doing like, roleplays with friends and writing out scenarios with ocs. i do remember it being a...to put it kindly, not super great place for a preteen to grow up, but it taught me many things so i can thank it for that, at least.
anyways! to put a lot of words short, this website is a spot for me to communicate my ideas in a place that isn't as scary as regular social media! html and css are super fun to mess around with too! the more i learn, the less scary the languages feel and i'm having a wonderful time. playign with my toys. :3
i also needed a spot to put my art in one place- it's kind of spread across a bunch of different websites and i'd like to organize it all into one spot so i don't lose anything important. i've lost a lot of my older digital art and i'd like to archive what i have available to me right now before i manage to lose that too.

i'm a cat that grew opposable thumbs!! now i type on the 'puter. my name is aspen, i'm eighteen years old and i go by they/them pronouns.
i'm a pretty big hobbyist! i draw, write, work on my website, dabble in game development and programming...stuff like that. if i can do it on my laptop, i've probably tried it. except for music related stuff- as much as i love music, i'm pretty bad at the creating bit.
i haven't been formally diagnosed but i heavily suspect i have adhd and autism. not truly saying i have either, buuut i show a lot of the symptoms of both. :p
i'm also pretty shy, but don't be afraid to reach out! i like getting messages. it feels nice to be thought about.
i lovelovelove animated media! both anime and western cartoons tend to be what i gravitate towards the most- i don't uh...really watch live action shows or movies. i just like the pretty drawings. ;w;
