hi! welcome to my first journal/blog post. i think for simplicities sake, i'll call it a journal.
i don't know what to write about!...hmmm...
got it! i'll write about my new terraria playthrough, since that's fresh on my mind right now.
with the help of my twin brother for funny character ideas, u'ugra was made. she's supposed to be barbarian-esque but i don't really play her like one LOL. she's just a strong woman in my mind.
i don't really build much outside of very basic npc houses or an emergency base so with my new world, "u'ugra's bane", i wanted to broaden my horizons on how much i could build! it's taken a lot longer to get through the early game BUT i've been having so much fun building that it hasn't bothered me in the slightest!

i put the guide and the nurse in my house because those are the two npcs i frequent the most. i think i'll add a roof at some point but i'm not sure how i want it to look just yet.
my uh, boss arena's a bit too close too the houses for my comfort, i made it in a haste because the eye of cthulu was about to spawn and i couldn't find a better spot that wasn't far away LOL. i'll move it eventually!
i've also made it a habit to sort my chests, largely because it's difficult to find things i need otherwise. protip: steal chests when you find them in the world and you won't have to waste resources early game making them >:D

i think i may move my potion ingredient farm somewhere else...i don't like it on the roof.

it's a bar! i dug it into the side of a hill because i did NOT want to terraform it LOL.
so far, i've beaten everything up until skeletron, excluding king slime. i had an opportunity to fight him but i missed it, unfortunately.
